APPEAL FOR PATRON DONORS Research and writing is nearly completed for Tritt Family History, Volume III, Christian Tritt, Immigrant to Pennsylvania in 1739, and His Son Henry Tritt / Treat, Born 1742, and Their Descendants. A final draft is expected for approval at the 2010 annual meeting of Tritt Family Research, with publication planned in 2011. Christian Tritt (1719 - 1801) was the younger of the two brothers (Hans Peter Tritt, Jr. [1715 - 1768] was the other) who immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1739, the first Tritt[en]s to arrive in America. Many in succeeding generations of Christian took the name of Treat, Trait, Treet, Trate, or similar. This volume will list descendants of Christian Tritt known to TFR up to the present. Now the second major task begins, that of acquiring funds to publish Volume III. Tritt Family Research is committed to another top-rate, high quality publication. Anyone who has seen Volume I or II can attest to the fine content and exquisite quality of those books. To publish Volume III will likely require $10,000 or more. As with our previous volumes, Tritt Family Research is appealing for Patron Donors for Volume III. There are three classes of Patron Donor: Gold ($500 donation), Silver (a $300 donation), Bronze (a $100 donation). Gold Patrons will receive five (5) copies of the published volume; Silver, three (3) copies; and Bronze (1) copy. Extra copies make nice gifts for your children, parents, or other family members. Patron Donors will also have their names printed in a list of Patron Donors within the book.
